Hello World, FamilyVideoGaming.com has Officially Launched

Our family loves gaming. It started seven years ago when I waited in line overnight at a ToysRUs to purchase a Wii for my then eight-year-old daughter. Well, for her and me.

Fast-forward to today, and my now fifteen-year-old daughter is a far better gamer than I ever hope to be, and my nine-year-old son regularly kicks my behind in most head-to-head games. Gaming has brought our family an immense amount of fun and closeness.

About a year ago, my son Cole asked if we could start recording our gameplay and post it to YouTube. Over the last year we've done some recording and posting of videos, and, no surprise, it's a ton of fun. Building on that, we recently decided to 'go all in,' and build a website and YouTube channel dedicated to
the best in family video gaming and geeky culture. Reviews, walkthroughs, Let's Plays, and geek culture in a family-friendly format.

I have no problem with mature games. In fact, the very mature Heavy Rain continues to be my favorite video game of all time. We just simply wanted to provide a space with great content, without having to worry about mature content. Any content on this site will be about games rated Teen or younger. And any game on the mature side of the Teen rating will be presented with ample warning.

We'd love to hear from you, especially your feedback and suggestions. Just simply use the contact form found in the right column of each page, or comment below.
