I had a chance to stop by the Gamer's for Giving event on Saturday, February 21 at the Eastern Michigan University Student Center. It was a typical gaming event with a huge LAN party, tournament Call of Duty, Halo, and Super Smash Bros.
What makes the event special is the reason behind it. Gamers for Giving raises money in support of Gamers Outreach, which funds video game carts for hospitals. This year's event surpassed the goal of $25,000 by over $17,000.
